Any Portable MP3 players support MP3 on DVD-R?

I really liked my portable MP3 CD player a lot and now that it's died and after a suitable period of mourning, I'd like to replace it with something similar that also supports DVD writeable media. Any ideas?

I've been researching this for ages and chased up a number of blind alleys. Yes, there are certain players that handle MP3-DVD, but do it so badly that it's pointless. With that much data to read it needs to have a fine interface, which seems to elude most electronics companies.

The Sony MPD-AP20U is my only choice at the moment, but that's not ideal. It doesn't boast enough pixels in its interface to make browsing a 4.5 GB disk easy. It's very hard to source one in Holland and they're way too expensive for what you get. It's an external USB 2 CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, as well as a battery powered mp3 player.

I need to have the following features:

1. ID3 tag support.
2. A good size screen so you can view a reasonable number of folders or tracks simultaneously.
3. Programmable.
4. DVD+/-R support, +/-RW is optional.

Optional features:

1. IR or RF remote. More likely with a portable DVD player I admit.
2. Audio output at line-out level.
3. DVD film playback directly to TV.
4. CD-RW or DVD-RW burning support via PC.

Many of the optional ideas have come from the fact that most portable devices that handle DVD-R media are DVD players primarily and music players secondly.

Philips make the Jack Rabbit 4 which is an external USB 2 DVD+RW drive that supports stand alone MP3 playback. It can also hook up directly to a TV and play DVD video without a PC. Another unusual combination and it's mains power only, which is not an issue for me. I can't determine whether it supports MP3 on DVD though!
