Any pointers to a cheap-ish 11x17 laser?

Will be needing an 11x17 laser printer for home office. Google returns tons of hits when searching "11x17 laser printer", then when digging into the specs almost none of them actually DO handle 11x17. Getting very tedious going through them. Even at the HP site, their selection guide does not have 11x17 capability as one of the search criteria.

Taking a shot here to see if someone has a suggestion for a sub-$400 printer that can handle 11x17 in a paper tray (not single-sheet fed). Don't need an all-in-one, just printing from a laptop USB hardwired. Or even a suggestion for somewhere that lets me use paper size as part of search criteria so I can work from there. Thanks in advance for any input.

Sub $400 is not apparent for 11x17 lasers. For large format or tabloid laser printers, anything less than $1200 would be "cheap-ish." Maybe this is a good place to start:

Thanks, corkyg. Based on those costs I will have to abandon laser and look at inkjets. Now to find something with cheap ink.

Does it have to be new?

Old school corporate laserjets are stupid cheap, I'd look for a LaserJet 5100 with a network card. Should be easily doable for way under $400. Budget a maintenance kit to ensure fresh rollers but they are workhorses compared to anything new for $400.

15k pages is basically new. Obviously cheaper if you can find one local.
