Any point to registering with MS and getting on the Xbox A-List?

Since we have a bevy of Xbox gamers on this forum I thought I'd ask if anyone had registered, and if registering had actually netted them anything of use. What say ye, AT gamers?

I registered, but I also opted out of the e-mails, so I havent been getting anything. I figured I paid for the item and it's legit so why not register and possibly make use of the warranty if I need it.
