Yes, I know it's on thirty-seven times a day, but I'd pay anything for it...

I remember seeing something on IMDB about it(Season 1) being released some time at the end of this year near Thanksgiving. Just telling ya what I heard. :)

They are indeed working on them. Apparently Jerry had a hard time talking the other cast members into participating in the DVD project, since they will not make any money on it (while he makes vast amounts every year on Seinfeld syndication rights). They should be out within a year or so.

yea, i'm not buying this one. they are shafting the cast. unlike reruns, where the cast of shows pretty much have standard deals on compensation, dvd is a whole new area. and well as you can expect, some companies probably are out to shaft the cast members. the cast is being shafted and won't participate in special features, so no commentary etc. bah. screw em.

I think they ultimately will get paid, but they definitely stand to make a tiny fraction of what Jerry and Larry David, who own the rights to the show, will make.

I read they are going ahead with them, except without any interviews or involvement from julia dreyfus or jason alexander because they were only offered a flat payment instead of being given a percentage of sales. It kinda taints the dvd's but I'll still end up buying them all.
