Any places that will guarrentee a blue core thunderbird?

I wanna try my luck at a gig or more . What cpu do you think I should get? I was thinking 900mhz or less.

correct me if im wront, but i'm pretty sure that regardless of purple or blue core, the processor is still the same...you don't get any added benefit from it. i've even heard that in addition to the blue and purple core amd's even coming out with red and gree core.

What he really means by 'blue' is one of the Dresden cpus. These babies at 750 will normally do 1gig.

Independant of core color, isn't there a designation in the serial nmber that pinpoints Dresden or Austin?
