Any place where I can get a free webhost?

I just started a new website for the first time and registered a domain name. I would like to give it a shot at building this website into something useful but I'm hoping to start with some free webhosting for at least the first year as I'm still experimenting with everything. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get decent webhosting to start or can anyone provide one?
 
Have a look at Zymic. You can also install WordPress and other Content Management Systems on the free hosting space.
 
If you're not expecting to have a lot of traffic initially, run one yourself at home. I've had a file server at home for years with no issues.

x2, if your ISP doesn't hav any restrictions go for it.

I wanted to run one from home for years unfortunately my ISP blocks all traffic from ports 25 and 80, so I'm SOL
