Any place to go for a weekend near Chicago?

Group of my friends were planning to go to WI and rent a cabin for 2days.. but we decided that it wasn't worth the 6hour drive... Any where closer to chicago where we can rent a place and chill for the weekend?.. where it's not too busy, forest, close to nature, and kinda isolated... About 2-4hour drive would be fine..
