Any place like Crutchfield.com for Canadians?

Title really says everything... I'm looking for a good place to buy some good equipment. All the local stores charge WAY too much and don't even carry a lot of the good stuff.

jr.com is all you need if they ship to canada, piss on Crutchfield. I ordereda yamaha reciever and it was 300 cheaper than best Buy, and the price was even lowered than listed on their own site.

Interesting that you say local stores charge too much. Are you going to chain stores? Crutchfield generally charges 10% more than the local places for car stereo & home theater stuff when I compare.

You send me the money you would spend at crutchfield, I'll buy what you want somewhere else and ship it to you. I'll pocket the difference and buy a decent used car with it.

The place I go to is one of two places that carries high(er) end products. It's not a chain store.

After US -> CDN conversion, this place is charging up to 25% more. If crutchfield is already overcharging, you can see why I'd like to find a new store. The problem is, there are so few places that carry the good stuff around here that they can afford to mark it up.

I just checked out jr.com. They do ship to Canada, but they are very, very limited in what they carry in terms of car audio.

Are you sure that's the final price? Most of the local stores here give you an initial quote that uses MSRP (same prices as crutchfield) but once you are serious you haggle them down 10% or so. Depending on the brand, of course.

They don't haggle at all.
