Any Pioneer DVR-104 owners?

I got my new drive yesterday (comes with 1.30 firmware) and a spindle of Primedisc. I inserted one in and the drive tries to read it, but eventually gives up. So I go to Compusa and buy a single TDK disc, and it works fine. The Primediscs I bought got some pretty good words in this thread at doom9.org. Has anyone tried Primedisc with their DVR-104? If you have it working, what firmware do you have?
