So here's my problem. Im making a clan spray for our CounterStrike clan. If your familiar with making sprays in CS you know that you have specific dimensions you have to work with. Ive chosen 128x64. When working with these dimensions in Photoshop they seem really small. But when you use the spray in game it comes out really clear a nice. Or did... I made one clan spray and used just a basic font without any real effects to it. It came out pretty nicely. Im re-doing the image now though and want to add some nice effects to the fonts to spice it up a bit, make it more flashy. When I go to type in any fonts I have to use such a small font size that it comes out REALLY blurry and is nearly unreadable. Then when I apply effects it gets even worse. I thought perhaps it would clear it when it showed up in game since it appears alot larger, no luck. So I need to know why I can't get any fonts to show up clearly when I have to use a small size, like 6. Maybe its the fonts Im using, I don't have any really nice ones, just what came with my computer for the most part. If anyone can shine some light on this for me I'd be very grateful. Im also willing to send you the Photoshop file so you can give it a whirl and see what the problem is.

Sent back to ya... I just tweeked the anti-aliasing in PS 7.0.1 so it was more legible. I also changed the font from Arial Narrow to Arial Black giving the core of the letters more substance.

Hope that helped...

Crisp does make it a lot more legible. I haven't tried it yet, but I fear when I add effects to it such as a neon glow to it, or a icy look that it will get all blurred. Ill have try it out. Anyone else have any ideas?
