Any Philips DVP-642 DVD Player owners here?

There have been, so far, three different hardware versions of the Philips DVP-642 (in which the DVD loader is different). They are identified by a letter (M, S, or E) on the model/firmware information page, viewable if you press on the remote:

[Open tray] 5 6 9 OK

I'm curious what hardware version is coming with the newer units made in 2005. If you have a 2005-made unit, can you post your manufacture date (printed on the label on the back of the player) and your hardware version?
