Any performance differences between the Radeon VE and the 32MB DDR?

I know the VE has 32MB DDR, but I was wondering if there was anything different between the 2 cards that would make them perform differently.

Basically, is the VE just a 32MB DDR card with dual display? Thanks!

The VE has a modified core(no t&l, only one pipeline, more i cant remember) and uses sdr memory. I belev you are talking about the LE right?

no, the VE, the one with dual display. ATi's site says it has 32MB DDR memory.

The VE is A LOT SLOWER than a normal 32 DDR card. Not a good choice for a gamer.

Don't even consider the VE if you play 3D games.

VE competes with the Matrox G450. Not a gaming card.
