Any people in the Richmond, BC area?

Want to stay a day in richmond, BC. I want to find a hotel/inn that's near the Chinese malls. I want to go to Radisson but my friend wants to see if there's a cheaper alternative.
Are there any Inn or motels near the area? I checked yahoo, Ramada has one around the area, but how close is it really?

Also, I have to pick up a friend at the Vancouver airport, so is there a compromise that's in between richmond and van airport I can choose?

www.hotels.com thats where i went when i got my hotel in vancouver. Really easy and no problems checking in

Thanks, but I have no sense of direction. How far apart are they?
Reason I want to stay near the malls is because I want to be able to wake up and grab some good chinese food quick.

Holiday Inn on Brideport Road...5 minutes to a big Asian mall, 10 minutes from the airport( by car that is lol)
