hey all...im leaving for my first semester at state college in a couple of weeks and i was wondering if there are any current students/alum here in ATOT...if you have any good stories you're welcome to share them as well...right now im just trying to prepare myself for living with an international student (korea)

I almost went to Penn State, but ended up at Ohio State instead. Mainly a money issue as I probably would have like PSU better. I lived with a Korean student and 2 others in the dorm my first year here. I dont think he ever said anymore to us than hello, you have mail/ a phone call, etc. He spoke rather fluent english compared to many foreign students as well. He had plenty of Korean friends, but I guess he didnt want to get to know us. Most of the foreign people that are at Ohio State are pretty well adapted and don't force unusual customs upon others. I would consider it as a good learning experience to get to know a bit about their culture. Have fun at Penn State.
