I'll have to get that - looks goods and even has 4 player local co-op (seems like many indie PC games that have 4-player local co-op look like they were made in 1988, but this is an exception).
Also found 2 in my steam library I own but have yet to try and also moving further away from FZERO but still in the ballpark of futuristic and imaginative racing. A.I.M. Racing seems very combat heavy and Krautscape (which also has local co-op) has winged vehicles
