I was selling my dvd player on Ebay and I specified that i only accept "Non Credit Card Paypal or Money Orders" now this guy who won the auction sent me a credit card paypal payment. I told him that I did not have a premier account and denied his payment, next day he sends me the same thing only with 10 dollars more saying he'll pay for the fee. I still have to upgrade my account to premier to accept it and there are fees I have to pay for it. Does this mean I have to pay a fee everytime I accept a payment even the non credit card payments or is it just for the credit card payments. I need some advice.

Thanks in advance

correct 2.9% + 30 cents.

You can change back from a premeer account once though.

yes

if you do a lot of online stuff, upgrade your current account and then create a new personal account, then you can have people send CC payments to the premier account and non-CC payments to the new personal account (that doesn't get hit with the % )

or if you don't sell that much, just tell the guy no

Doh! I don't sell much on ebay so I don't really use my paypal account.

its 2.2 % + 30 cents if you take in more than $1000 a month.

what sucks is if you are premier even echecks get charged the fee.

if you're premier the percentage is like 1.5% + 30 cents

You'd likely need two credit cards and two bank accounts to do this...Paypal only allows you to use each pair on one account.
