Any parents who had problems with their childs school district?

Well, I dont have a child, but I do have a brother.

So he received a suspension last week. Why? Well, after school, he came up to a supervisor, and asked her where the bus was. She didnt respond and when he walked away, she called him back and asked him to repeat his question. He asked her where the bus was again, she replied with a "thats much better." Well, he saw his bus, and she called him back, he replied with a "never mind" and hopped on his bus. Well, because he didnt come back when she was calling him, he received a suspension because he "intentionally defied authority." It was miscommunication, for goodness sake. He just wanted to get on the bus. The supervisor was useless.

Well not only that. They wont let him make up his test!!!!! There was a test issued that day, and they wont let him make it up. In fact, there was another kid absent on that day and that kid was allowed to make up his test.

He shouldnt be punished in class. He was already punished with suspension............those jerks.

I will be speaking to the superintendent and the principle.

AHHHHHHHHH

unfortunately when you get suspended from school you get a 0 for that days work... the teachers do not have to allow students to make up tests they miss that day. It IS part of the punishment.

But... I come from a very racist town and my brother is adopted and black. I swear they purposely point out every little thing he does and suspends him for it. He got suspended for 3 weeks out of school for writing on a desk.. IN PENCIL! Yeah he shouldnt have done it.. but its not like it was permanent. Personally i think the punishment should have been to wash every desk and table in that hallway or something instead of wasting time and his education.

Idiots. Thats just stupid.

Anyway, the school I went to I have a couple of issues with:

1) Pledge of alligence. Why not before sept 11th you tards?
2) No minority teachers. Every single minority teacher was awesome there. All failed to make tenure. Interesting, eh?
3) They get rid of those who interact with students as more than teachers (ie, friends.) My A&P teacher was fired because he was too "friendly" with females, even though he never touched them without their permission (for class demoinstrations and stuff like that. He used both males and females equally)
4) Teachers who are generally worthless get to stay, as my poly sci teacher did. She would not give anyone who disagreed with her higher than a C, and she was a liberal nazi to the extream. She made P&N look good. I dropped her class and complained, along with several other students...nothing was done.

Where did this happen?

The best (and only) thing you could do is talk to the principle, if you don't find success there, then proceed to meet with the superintendent.
