Any Own The Olevia 237T?

Was considering getting this for my first HDTV. I want to keep it less than $800-$1000.

Yeah but the closest Target is like 80-100 miles. Otherwise I would be all over it without asking. Next best thing around me is OD for $699 out the door($649 if I get the mail in rebate).

I picked up the 242T (42") for $699 AR at Office Depot this morning. We got it hooked up this afternoon in the bedroom and it's awesome. We're very happy with it so far.

That page says the 237T has the MTK processor. You want the MTK instead of the pixleworks in some of the Olevia models.

You're in luck! It uses the MTK MDDi chipset (FAR superior to pixelworks).

I was planning on getting a 50" Thin-DLP early next year due to costs and DLPs seem to be more bang for the buck than lcd or plasma. Do you think this will most likely beat anything that I could get early next year or are these deals always around?

Also, I'm a little wary about the 'Olevia' brand... are these any good?

I just got the 232v a week ago and have been very happy with it.

No, but I sell them at OD. They're a fine TV for the money. Ours def use the MTK MDDi chipset.
