Any Outlook2003/Exchange gurus?

I'm trying to check both my work and my personal email from my personal computer, but when I add the exchange server, it downloads all my messages to my personal folder and deletes them off exchange. I had to resync them into exchange using my work computer and a pst file, but that's a story for another day.

Does anybody know how to make the exchange folder that's created in outlook just sync up like it should with the exchange server, not delete anything, all the while allowing incoming mail from the POP3 accounts to go to my personal folder? TIA.

EDIT: for Nik: bl0w me 😛

why don't you make the exchange mail stay in the exchange server by not choosing pst as your default mail location.

Because then it seems to want to deliver my pop3 mail to the inbox under the exchange mailbox.

i dunno why ur just using pop3 but u can tell it to dl the mails but leave a copy on the server...just like in regular Outlook express.

I haven't seen a way to have two default mail location. What you can do is redirection with rules, if this works.

I'm using pop3 for pop3 servers. I don't think you understand my predicament. I have an exchange server on the left, a pop3 server on the right. I wanna check both. I want the exchange server to sync with my local exchange mailbox, and the pop3 to download the mail to my personal folder file (pst) NOT the exchange mailbox.

I thought about this, but there has to be another way, because I want to keep these two accounts separate, i.e. I don't want my personal email accidentally syncing to the exchange server.
