Any other PSU suggestions before I buy?

I've never paided more than $50 for a used PSU. But I decided to buy new. Was thinking Antec Neopower 480watt from Zipzoom(thx cRazYdood) for $109. Any other 2.0 24 pin PSU's for about that price that might be a bit better? I'd love a sleeved PSU.

I want this to be my last PSU for at least a couple years.

Either way you can find better prices at Mwave or Zipzoomfly.

Zipzoomfly has that same Antec power supply for $109 with free 2nd day shipping.

I personally chose the Enermax over the Antec because of their better efficiency, and there was a review somewhere with an Antec that had a really low 12V. It may have just been a fluke, but I'll see if I can dig that up.

well I was buying used. The enermax is $90 shipped and the Neo was $100 shipped.

I just did a build with the Antec Neo power that went very smoothly. I know that some don't like the modular cables because it's another potential failure point, but it sure makes for a clean install. It come with the 24-pin ATX connector, a 20-pin down adapter, pci-e power adapter, and LOTS of molex and SATA power plugs. Oh, SATA plugs support the next-gen power requirements too. It's a nice package.:thumbsup:

Between those two I'd probably get the Antec then.
The antec of course has the modular plugs and active PFC. I also would prefer the 120mm fan to the fan setup on that particular Enermax. That antec also has more on the 12V line than that Enermax.

Since your buying used, you should check the Antec's version number with the seller before you buy. The newegg link is to the 2.0 version. Version 1.0 was a little different but I'm not certain about the details. I think they added the next-gen SATA power support but I don't know what else might be different.

Well you could get the Neo sleeved for you, but you'll pay for it and it voids the warrenty (I think). FrozenCPU.com will sell it to you custom sleeved for $159.95 plus shipping. Basically you pay about $60 or so for the sleeving.

Get the OCZ Modstream 520w. It has Modular UV Reactive Cables and a 120mm fan, 28a on the 12v rail. (More than enough for most).

I may get that PSU. But I can save $20-$30 going with the 450watt 26a version. Worth it to save the extra money? Would going with the 520 be for future proof?

Well it depends on your specs. I'm pretty sure it would. More like 99% sure . OCZ rates their PSU's on there average power, not the peak power. So compared to a generic PSU, the OCZ 450w is more like a 550w.
