Nope, you're stuck with some form of it; RealPlayer 8 is probably your best bet.

You're stuck.. there are some programs out there like sasami that claim to be able to play the format.. but you have to have Real installed for it to work..

Install an old version of Real Player (installed RP6 Plus that I actually paid for back in the day). Find the Tara Audio/Video plugin for WinAMP and install. Associate .RA/.RAM files with WinAMP. Start renaming the files in the Real Player directory while playing an .RAM file in winamp until it doesn't play anymore. Delete the ones that doesn't cause it to not play. Boom. There ya go.

I'm sure there's a site out there that actually details the absolute required files to keep for Real Player, but I've never gone out looking for 'em. this is what I did. WinAMP is and has been for quite some time my complete media solution for playing all audio/video formats (.mp3, .avi, .mpg, .qt, .mov, .ogg, .mid, .wav, etc) as well as being my DVD/TV Tuner/Radio player. Gotta love plugins. :D
