How many of you have used both Meguiars Soft Wash Gel (the pink stuff) AND Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner?
How big of a difference is there between the two? I know going from that blue armorall car wash to the meguiars soft wash gel made a pretty big difference.. cut out me having to do a 2nd step by using Meguiars quik detailer to get it as shiny as I like it. Wonder if the gold class stuff would make it even better...
Reason I ask is because the other day Kmart had about 40 bottles of the gold class stuff and I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy some now... or wait until I order that whole $75 kit from Meguiars with ALL of their gold class stuff so I can clay, polish, wax, etc.

From meguiars.com:

Soft Wash Gel
Years ago we invented this remarakable gel car wash that is super thick, super rich and super concentrated. It is unlike any other car wash on the market. It blends expensive conditioners and optical brighteners to enhance the brilliance of the paint finish...and it won't strip off wax protection. It's completely safe on all surfaces including clear coat paints. Raving fans continue to use this exciting formula...year after year.

A-2516 ....................16 oz.

Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
"Exceptional"..."luxurious"..."awesome"..."molten magic"...these are only a few terms people have used to describe this remarkable shampoo and conditioner for automobiles. From the minute it's first applied, users see a difference. The rich conditioners pamper the paint and make the washing process a dream as your wash mitt or sponge glides across the slickened surface. This is far more than a car wash...it is a lavish spa for your autombile. We have to offer it in many sizes, since loyal fans can't get enough of it and they want to hook their friends on it too.

G-7116 ....................16 oz.
G-7164 ....................64 oz.

Sheesh.. wonder if they care about all those spelling errors they have on their page... "remarakable" "autombile" hehe ;)

meguiars is the best stuff I have used. Haven't tried Zymol. I would get the entire meguiars kit. Do a good wax now, to get ready for summer. You should only have to wax it maybe 1 more time till winter, but probably not. As far as the wash, the pink stuff works just fine, I dont see a significant difference between that and the gold class.

Meguiars and Zymol are good stuff.

Anybody try Eagle One products? Used their Wet Look polish (warning-has teflon in it) on my red car and WOW. Easy and long lasting. Know you purists probably dont like it.
