I usually consider myself a very social guy. This summer started off great, I went to a lot of parties, met a lot of people. I went to college orientation and partied and got with some frats. After orientation, I got invited to all sorts of pre-rush parties for three weeks straight.

And then August rolled around.

This is the second weekened night in two weeks that I haven't done anything. Last Friday (the 2nd) and tonight, I have been sitting at home. Although I saw DJ Tiesto last night and came home around 5 AM....I still don't like this. But people are out of town, already starting to move away. Some are wrapping up their final vacations. Everyone wants to tie up lose ends, but no one wants to party for the rest of the summer it seems.

I move out in 13 days.....

it appears you like to "admit" a lot of things. School starts soon, you'll be fine.

I'm starting my second year in 10 days, going to see Tool monday, going to see the Strokes/White Stripes in NYC (radio city music hall) on thursday, then my friend and I are road tripping to Boston then Montreal till the 20th. That should blow some time. I don't really party when I'm home for the summer, but that'll change when I get back to school

k, so basicly you state a problem....then you answer that problem with the very good and valid reason (responsibility anyone?) as to why it occurs....what am I missing here?

There's more to life than parties. Read a book on philosophy or actually think about God. It's good to spend time alone and to get some thoughts in; unfortunately I think too much which carries bad consequences.

Sheesh, chill at home for a bit. I've been spending time with my family and just taking it easy before I leave.. there's plenty of time for parties. I'll appreciate the time I have alone, quiet, in my room.

Counter-Strike on campus connection...yummy..

yup. Maybe you need some quality time alone or time away from school to relax and relieve the stress of school. Go see your family and have a nice meal or something that doesn't involve school.

The biggest mistake I made was not charging my digital camera's battery before I came. I came and it was only on 1/3. Plus I couldn't get my flash right with all the lighting. But here were the few pics I took.

Joe's Tiesto Pics

I really was pissed off I forgot to charge the fvckin' battery. How did you work your flash in the stage lighting? with the lights all mine came out blurry. I got some close ups of Tiesto though..somewhat closeups.

you should spend some time at home....there's plenty more time for partying when the semester/quarter starts up in a few weeks for everyone.

Ah... I recently discovered the long-shudder option on my Canon S200, it works wonders in situations like those.

And wow, I'm looking at your first pic... I totally recognize that guard in the middle.. haha, he was the one that was always shakin his head and kinda started bustin out some moves when the set really took off.... dude, I bet we were right next to each other the entire time.

Maybe you should smoke heavy amounts of marijuana until you leave, it will change your outlook.

When the fall semester/quarter starts...he probably will if he hasn't already :) Most freshmen do it their first year. I don't now why, but they do.

Pot kills your physique. Supresses testosterone by binding with estrogen. Evil.

Really? I would have thought most people smoked during hs and the people that DIDN'T in hs end up smoking in hs end up smoking in college. I smoked more than my own share in HS, I guess I am trying to make up for some of the ATOT people which havent expereinced the world:D

To be honest, I really do think people should smoke marijuana to experience a new outlook on the world. You also make good friends once you smoke with them and have hilarious situitations or conversations.

I smoked my senior year silly. I could never get any sort of mass on myself, this summer I quit smoking, and although I drank, I've lost a good % of body fat and put on about 8 lbs. Enough to get me to stop.

The frat problem will pick up again when school or pretty much any quarter starts. They run such a great scam.
