Gideontech (as well as other modding sites) have gotten a bit slow, and the sites dedicated to modding are generally full up of kids and computing equivalents of ricers (but they're good for people just starting off in learning).

Bit-Tech forums are large, and there's a fair number of very intelligent people there (i.e. Zapwizard)
Overclockers forums are nice, too, but there's no Off-Topic forum until you have 1,000 useful posts elsewhere 🙂

oh, right, and I used to be on Gideontech. I left because they don't like neffage 🙁
