Thought I'd ask my knowledgable friends here in DC first....

I have their PowerLink service at my home. I need to access my corporate FTP server from home, however we have configured our FTP server to accept connections from a known list of IP addresses. Does anyone know the range of IP addresses that are served up to PowerLink cable modems? They (allegedly) reassign an IP address every three hours, so I can't stick a static address into out list of acceptable IP addresses.

Well, I finaly cracked to break the 2000 post mark. 😀

But this is worth it.
I did a search on Google under "IPlookup"
The first website I found was a free program called IPLOOKUP

According to the website it says it mainly for people that are selling stuff. But this seems like something that may help you. According to the site you can Specify an IP Number and IPLookup will retrieve all available information including the name and address of the ISP or the organization that owns the IP block. It also lists the IP block that the company "owns"

Try Entering your IP address you have at this moment and it should bring up the IP block that your ISP uses. You should be able to base it off that.
