LOL he will argue forever just as he insists that I'm a he.

It's not that I mind toy poodles per se, just the unhousebroken ones who insist on peeing on your shoes. :awe:

I remember Billy Wilson of Voodoo Extreme posted an email I sent to him whining about the fact that he wrote it up and was going to ruin it for everyone. I was wounded even before buy.com even reneged on it.

Wow, Voodoo Extreme, a real blast from the past. While tracking down a troll recently I had occasion to visit Heatware, so I looked up my old account.

There weren't many entries as I'd done the bulk of my trading before Heatware even existed, plus I'd never bothered to list many of the trades I did make on HW back in its early days.

One shock: Most of my few listed trades originated from Voodoo Extreme and the legendary AGN (All Games Network), not AnandTech. I remember considering AnandTech to be somewhat candy-ass in relation to AGN!

The other thing that caught my eye was that several of my trades were dated 1/1/1998. That's because, in its earliest days, Heatware had its own database crash and when reconstituted, dated all the trades made before that crash so.

Shorty and others can punk-whine threadcrap all they want in this thread, but I'm proud to have been a tiny part of the pioneer on-line trading community and, as such, Internet history.

Wow, I can't believe it has been more than 11 years ago. I ordered the monitor, but it never came. There were rumors flying about how Buy.com would response, people were crying, many bitter essays were written.

Super old thread for an even older event, but just happened to run across it. I was one of the few I got that price on it. WMC was insane!
