Any opinions on these books? And suggest some others?

Since I've been watching The Unit, I always see where its based on the book. So since I couldn't find it at my university library, and I'm going to Florida in a week, I wanted to order it this week for the plane ride and whatnot. I've enjoyed a few military/government books in the past.

Is Haney's book the best or one of the best DF accounts? Seems that it got very good reviews, and "better than Beckwith's", but they are rated close.

What's the difference between 'Paperback' and 'Mass Market Paperback'? Paper quality?

Paperback, $11.20:
1

Mass Market Paperback, $6.99
2

I was about to ask about the third version, released in 2007, but realized it's for young adult readers.

So I plan to pick up one of those versions, but maybe I should just buy something else and get free shipping.

What about Beckwith's DF book? Would it be redundant to buy both of them? I certainly like the topic, but I'm not like a huge military or history buff, so I was considering other books like:

Imperial Hubris?

Also, would kind of like a newer DF/Special Forces book as well, if it included anything recent since Afhganistan and Iraq, since the Haney and Beckwith books came out before that.

Was wondering the same thing myself. About to take a looooooong flight, and wouldn't mind reading some quick n easy trash along the way.
