im about to buy a new monitor (got a 14" right now...). after reading an article in the c't i came to consider
ctx PR711F as my primary choice (got the best test results). the price is about $350, since its a 17" with a sony flatron tube i think its a fairly reasonable price.
my second choice would be the mitsubishi diamond pro 720 same thing but with a mitsubishi tube. but since nec and mitsubishi merged i dont even know if that model is still on the market.
just wonering if there are any opinions about monitors out there, since cpu- and graphicscard articles seem to push the ones on , in my opinion most important part of a pc, monitors in the background.
