Any online stores sell gaming systems that are cheaper than alienware type places?

I'm in the market for a new gaming pc. I used to build my own and overclock, but i'm too busy for that these days. I'm looking at sites like alienware and the prices are outrageous... i just want a decent system (a dual core E4300 that's overclocked) at reasonable prices rather than the latest greatest gear. Any such shops?

"Good deals" and "gaming PCs" are mutually exclusive.

More to the point if you have time to waste playing games on your PC you can't really be that busy, so I would set aside a couple hours for research and just build it yourself.

Otherwise Dell XPS or Puget would be my suggestions for pre-built.

Really, good point Operandi.

It takes 2-3 hours to post on Anandtech and have OTHER people pick out parts, and only a few hours to put it all together. You can also find a local guy to put it together for you.
