My roommate needs a way to connect her notebook with our wifi network. Do these work well? It's my general assumption that free=crap. Am I wrong? I hope so.
 
i personally think you can get a PC ccard one for cheaper. check out pricegrabber.com or froogle.com. i wouldn't personally get USB. pc card or Mini-PCI. i spent $40 on my internal mini-pci truemobile 1300 802.11G compliant card from dell; and its freakin' fabulous.
