It's pretty hit or miss, they never seem to follow any sort of naming convention. That said, any body shop or dealership should have exploded views for body panel & brackets that make it relatively easy to get the right part name/number.

1000 dollars? Minor point, but with that mileage, I beg to differ. <shrug>

Nevertheless kewl pickup (pun intended.)

$1200ish for an '01 S10 is high? Phoenix Craigslist has one with 140k for $3600, other years are still $4000+.

sounds like a good deal to me? those trucks last a long time. no one makes a truck that size anymore either.

Agreed.

OP could part the truck out and make some decent cash. Even simple stuff like the tires/rims, lift-gate, and panels would sell for a decent amount. Thats not even counting the engine/tranny with <100k miles. Thats got a good amount of life left in it...

Glad im not the only person who thought I was getting a decent deal. After all is said anf done i might have to put 800 into the body. The guy hit a German Sheppard in it broke the grille, bent the bumper back alittle, and destroyed the valance at the bottom. I drove it home fine just put the valance in the bed. I removed the bed i saw a little rust from it being sitting for a little while, and i rubber coated the rear frame.

its apart of the fender it isnt a bad fender to change but you should be able to work and pull it into place to allow the bumper to connect to it. and nice job on the truck! good deal

in this case it was definitely a hit

After looking at your picture a bit more I think you should just heat it up and bend it back into place.
Your frame looks a little dented.
