I live in GR here.

I've heard between 2-4am it will start snowing/sleeting depending where we are on the freeze line.

GR won't see much more than 6in if we end up in the freezezone from what i'm told. north of GR they can get over a foot though (my sisters will prolly be getting out of school sounds like)

your only chance for a snowday is if we end up ont he freeze line and we get ice. but I don't want ice considering I had my fill back in the spring.

I'm working regardless tommrow so i'm hoping for a nice layer of snow but not enough to cause problems

No chance you'll have a snow day tomorrow, unless you're in the upper mids of the state...even then they're only getting < 6" of snow.

Windsor / Detroit downtown area here.

Light rain, windy, not cold enough to freeze anything though. Sorry dog.

not in the Tricounty area.
Its sooo freaking wet and cold. The trees are covered in ice (very pretty) but down here, only snow ~1inch.

Drove into GR from Sparta. Pretty miserable drive down M-37. Pretty much 35 MPH the whole way in. I was driving in tracks until about Alpine. We might have had a quarter of an inch of snow. The snow machine is supposed to start up around noon-ish. We shall see. Every school around here is closed. Heck I think most of the west side of the state is closed.

I'm from Rochester Hills, but I'm at Michigan State University and we had freezing rain last night that froze on the trees and sidewalks. Now, it is snowing. Look out Michigan, here comes winter!!
