What do you guys think of the Aopen H600A Super tower, or just Aopen cases in general??

Has anyone got one or had one??

If that is their aluminum case, it's a very nice case and there is a review on tomshardware.com - in one of the group reviews. directron.com had some of the silver colored ones at a ridiculously low price (around $80.), but it looks like they're gone now...

Sorry, been meaning to reply to this for a couple days now.

First, the Aluminum Case is the A600A. The H600A is not quite the same, is steel, but is still pretty nice.

I'm using the H600A right now, and I like it. I will probably go to a different case when I build my next computer, but mainly just because I'd like to try something else out.

So, here's a quick review:

Good:
Thumbscrews for covers.
Room for many 80mm fans (2 in back, 1 in front, 2 on MB side near front)
Can use drive rails or screws on 5.25" drives
Removable 2 Drive HDD cage (mounts to floor of case)
Removable 3 Drive 3.5" cage (mounts below 5.25" drives)
Drive bay covers snap in and out
Bezel is fairly easy to remove

Bad:
No 120mm fan (80 only)
Front USB/Firewire/Sound is optional, and there are many configs, so you need to make sure you get the one you want.
Only 3 Internal HDD bays (if that really is a problem).

My setup is:
AXP 1800+ (Palomino core)
2x IBM Deskstar 7200 RPM 40GB (RAID 0)
R9700Pro
Sony CD-RW
Volcano 6Cu CPU Cooler
Soyo K7V Dragon Plus
Antec TrueBlue 350 PSU

I upgraded the PSU (came with a 300 Watter when I bought the case) when I got the 9700pro because I was having problems installing the card. The problems ended up being driver related though (needed to reinstall windows), so I might be able to go back to the Aopen supply that worked fine for 2 years when I had a GF3 Ti200.

My Case temp is 32 C with a single 2800 RPM 80mm fan in back (the one that came with the case). Case is pretty quiet except for the CPU cooler, which has a 5000 RPM fan.

Overall I like the case, but I will probably get something new when I build a new computer in December.
