yep. 2k is the going rate for a basic setup (installed). pick up an issue of lowrider sometime and you can find TONS of internet sites and mail order places.

i used to be friendly with people in car clubs...and MAN, i wet myself when they'd "hit the switches".....i used to have a pimped out gold caprice classic too! woulda been perfect for hydros..in fact , i already had the wire wheels with gold spinners!! too bad i 1) had no money and 2) sold the car!

here's a pic of the car (if the site is still up) link

If you've ever seen the movie "Friday" do you remember Big Worm's orange tank with hydraulics.
When he lowers the car the license plate is touching the ground. :D

That was too funny.

Yeah it'll run you between 2K and 4K. Depending on setup. One guy I know worked on the hydraulics for the Nutty Professor movie on that viper. Anyone remember that? :D

Anyways, I don't like hydraulics. I saw a stratus bouncing up and down the street the other day. Ugh! Fux up the car. I would warn against doing this. I've seen some people blow their hydraulics while driving and their car just winds up dragging on the ground.

So why would you want to do this anyways?

Please don't take this personally, but I can't stand people who do junk like this to their cars...
It's still not as bad as the guys who drive down the street with their cars booming so loud that it rattles your car.....
