Any one get a GM dealer to price match tires?

Local GM dealer has decent prices on tires I was looking to get, but if I could get them to price match it would be a greater deal.

However the dealer said I needed the GM part number to match the other realtors tires to get the price match.

What other store would have GM part numbers?

Seems impossible to match.

Only other GM dealers will have that part number.

Personally, I never price match anything. I just buy from the seller that offers a good price in the first place, with no hoops to jump through.

As long as you are willing to accept limited selection and pricing that's not always the lowest. For instance, looking at Michelin tires for my Silverado, Costco was more expensive than Sears for the same tire, LTX M/S 2's. (Had to confine the search to Michelin since Costco didn't carry Continental.)

Just sayin' it pays to shop and not take stuff repeated ad nauseum as creed, like Amazon is always cheaper.....LOL!

after the GM rebate, the tires are cheaper then costco, and they use a road force balancer.

I was hoping to stack the two.

Might just pay with my discover card, and then use their price protection.

I've had excellent experiences at discount tire and their prices blow away sams club or costco.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports:
$211.84 at my local Sams Club.
$178.19 at DTD online with free shipping, or, holy cow
$160.00 at my local store, plus huge discounts if you have their credit card and buy a set of 4.

Huge savings.
