I'm in TO (scarharlem) to be exact..but no I don't work for any cmoptuer firm...used to do coop at Compaq though.

YO Viperoni.. I gotta ask something about factory direct.... Are the Monitors any good? the refurb once. Do you guys get too many problems with them? Just curious.

I'll tell you my experience with buying them (about 6 months) before I got a job there.

Bought a PF790, brought it home, died after 2 minutes of use.
The second one which I tested in store, made a high pitched squealing.
The third one has been sitting on my desk since March, and I'm still loving the real estate

So yeah, I recommend you test the monitors in store, and the sales people don't mind (well at my store anyhow ).
