Any one ever use ATI support?

One of the reasons I am looking at a new video card and a Hauppauge TV Tuner is that I cannot get the ATI scheduler to work. Off and on for the last year it craps out with the error ATISCHED.EXE ERROR. Nothing else but this error. I have gone through every article website and possible, but no help. I use to have to format and reload everything and then it would work. It wont work at all now! ATI is usless, I went through 3 tiers of their support and no resolution. I have no issues installing the vid card, or other software, I have tried everything, Omega drivers, Driver cleaner. When I select a show from Guideplus, for say an hour later it is fine, but when the hour is up and it tries to initialize to record the show and gets this error. Any one got any ideas?
