Heh, for those who dont know wtf I am talking about, it is the Microsoft "Digital Sound System 80" USB 2.1 speaker set.

I got these for christmas back in '98 when they came out, my folks paid $250.00 full pop for them :shocked:

They still work perfectly and kick ass, back when it mattered I loved not having to deal with irc conflicts from a soundcard.

I have not owned a sound card for more than seven years! :laugh:

 
I love them. I wish there were still more USB speakers available. I got them for like $350 (cnd) with a $75 rebate from MS.
 
I remember when they came out, thought it was pretty damn awesome at the time.

There are a few sets on ebay, almost tempted to get one to play with.
