Any one else read the 6600GT review at HardOCP?

Does anyone else find it strange that the review only compared two graphics cards, and that the vast majority of the benchmarks use wildly different settings on the two cards?

Is HardOCP massively pro nVidia? (Not a normal reader of the site...)

They compare nvidia's and ati's offerings in the same price range by testing the real world playablity of the cards. That plays heavly in nvidia's favor for the 6600gt this time, but it isn't becuase they are biased.

and they also do an Apples to Apples comparison at the end of their reveiw which really shows how well the 6600GT does.

Hardocp does the best reviews in the sense that they let you know what to expect in terms of game play.

Please be aware we test our video cards a bit different from what is the norm. We concentrate on examining the real-world gameplay that each video card provides. Gameplay includes performance and image quality evaluation. We have two sections, ?Highest Playable? and ?Apples to Apples?. The Highest Playable section shows the best Image Quality delivered at a playable frame rate. Following the Highest Playable section we have a brief Apples to Apples performance section for those that find benefit of framerates with matching IQ.
