any one else have troubles with columbia house dvd clubs?

well i find their delivery is slow, their service online stinks, i filled out the stuff so i could access my account and order stuff online, and cancel that dvd they send you the directers choice. but they won't accept my pass word. i think they're a 2 bit company, my bro has had ton's of trouble with a cd club they have. and their selection stinks. can't get short circuit, can't get back to the future, can't get battery's not included, if i can find those at amazon, then I'm gonna ditch them. i didn't know they had crummy service.

I haven't had any trouble with them so far. Except one thing I find annoying is that even though I've bought several CD's full price my total left to buy hasn't gone down... Maybe they have to be CDs that aren't purchased as part of a special deal (eg buy one get one free).

Try your password all caps, that was the problem with mine.

WELL ALL CAPS oops, all caps didn't work. maybe it's like my bank, it takes them 24 hrs to activate my account.

Actually, if you just signed up for the account it takes a lot longer than 24 hours for it to activate. Took mine like two weeks. I wouldn't even try accesssing their web page until after you've received your first package from them, that's when mine started working.

Then I dunno what to say. My login's just my e-mail address, & my password was converted to all caps... Other than that I've had no trouble whatsoever.

Try e-mailing their customer service department, I got my question answered by them.

Since you are all on this forum, you are obviously on the internet... Why would you possibly join Columbia House foir DVDs? Their DVDs cost twice (at least) what you can get them elsewhere PLUS shipping!

I know they give you free DVDs, but if you do the math, they are a HORRIBLE company to do business with.

I think DVD clubs are pretty annoying..when a new DVD comes out I want it RIGHT THEN THE DAY IT COMES OUT

My small collection is up to 43! check my site, i have em all there.

I've dealt with Columbia House in the past with CDs (before the MP3 age ) and didn't have any problems...except when I forgot to send in my card to prevent them from sending the damn selection of the month.
