I was curious if any of the AiB makers officially support / provide tools / files on their website along with instructions on flashing their video card products to the latest firmware / bios. I am not talking about flashing a card to a another cards bios (IE a Ti4200 flashed to a Ti4600), but rather an upgrade to a cards existing firmware.

they dont like us messin with their bios files cause we learn things they dont want us to know :D

nVidia has an official bios flash utility (nvflash), gets updated yearly.

I know there were a few updated BIOS released for 8800GT from a few AIB partners like EVGA and BFG to fix some PCI 2.0 compatibility and fan speed issues I believe. Other than fixes like these, I doubt you'll find vendors "supporting" BIOS flashing tools. Like Thugsrook said, I believe Nvflash and nbitor are the popular tools for NV cards, not sure what ATI cards are using nowadays although I have read people flashing their cards to unlock overclocking abilities.

Bah, I figured as much. Oh well, at least they allow it when major problems are found though (as chizow brought up).
