Any of you with 17" monitors running at 1600 x 1200?

I only have 1 17" monitor left and it's running 1024. 1600 would be insane IMO.

I played WoW @ 1600x1200

It depends on the game imo.

oh sorry... i meant the desktop res.

my videocard can't wouldn't be able to do 1600x1200 in games but my monitor says it could do 1600x1200 @ 75

I'd have a headache after 10 seconds of running at 1600x1200 with a 17' monitor. It strains my eyes to use that high of resolution even with a 19" CRT.

Oh the joys of getting old. Next thing I know, I'll be needing the magnifying glass thingy that zooms in by like a factor of 10.

No, haven't run that high since I had my 21" or 22" monitor.

Currently I'm using a 17", I run it at 11 x 8. It's a cheapo, so anything higher than that means a refresh rate below 85hz.
