Any of you seen this video?

It was quite decent and tasty. Thx 4 teh link OP

yup.

I have the old version of the blue one. It looks like a blue rod, not a lightsaber, and the slightest hit on the plade makes a brown mark. The new one uses LED's instead of the electo-luminescent core so it is much more durable, that is why they can fight like that. Also, the LED's give it that white rod-blue glow look because they are a lot brighter.

about the video, the SFX from those sabers were terrible.

yeah, but the sound is coming from speakers inside the hilts of the sabers.

Gotta love the addition of them, it's like they went:

"hey we got all these storm trooper outfits, but they don't belong in this scene"

"right, so let's put one here, here, here, and 2 over there"

"awesome"

LOL! If those are the replica costumes, I would want to use them too ($359 for helmet alone). LOL!

Why do people insist on an obsession with those movies? This re-enactment stuff is just childish. I enjoyed the series, but I don't want to live them.

cool sabers, but obviously far too choreographed.

I like how they control and defend against each other's attacks with the force, but the choreography included way too many flips, rolls, tumbles, etc. There's one point where the light jedi is rolling back and forth across the stage, one roll after another, to avoid the dark jedi who just ends up turning around in circles to follow him.

Yeah, really. I mean Lucas took it way too far by making the movies. I mean, I enjoyed the books, but I don't want to watch other people act out creative interpretations of the books. That's just... silly.

Ok, not that I would buy one or anything.. no really, I wouldnt,, I swear.

But simply out of curiosity, what would one of those things cost ?

Wow, I was expecting worse.

I remember those hard plastic light sabers in the 80's. They were glow-in-the-dark, and had those holes cut in the top so they made a half ass woosh sound when you swung them. THey were pretty cool, if only because they were so sturdy. When you whacked someone in the head with one, they knew it. Ahh the good ol days 🙂

Ah yes, good old days back in the 80's, before I was born 😛
