Any of you run with a backpack?

Do you want something weighted or do you need to carry stuff while you're running? If you just want added weight, pick up a weighted vest of some sort. They're designed with people exercising in mind. Decent ones will allow you to add and removed weight.

I going to be running to work, and working out in the mornings when I arrive. They have showers on hand so ill have my clothes for work along with a towel and a tablet for work.

Are you a speed runner or a long slow type? I am in the former category (~730-8 min/mi pace average for up to marathon distance), and tried a few various packes. From Osprey, Camelbak, and some others. They all seemed to move around on me OR even worse would ride up from my hips and go into my stomach. It might be partially because I don't have a flat ass, but I wouldn't think it would be that hard to find one that worked for me.

I'll be watching this thread to see what you end up with and how it works.

Take a bike or walk to work, sometimes they have backpacks.

Hikers wear backpacks, sometimes bikers do. Runners do not.

I do some alpine climbing every now and again. In prep for a climb, I often walk staircases with up to 80 lbs in a backpack. Since it's not particularly good for the knees, I can't imagine running with a pack, even a considerably lighter one.

Just Google "running backpack" and stop being a know-it-all putz.

This dude wants to carry more than water and a few energy bars which a running backpack is only used for.

Besides, I don't have to google anything since I'm physically active. Stop being a know nothing putz and relying on google for everything. I have real life knowledge of such things.

Running with a backpack is for ultra distance runners and not much anyone else.

Google "ultra distance running" since you're uninformed.

Im not wanting a bag for the weight I need it to put my work clothes into and a tablet.Everytime i have ever ran with a bag i constantly bounces and annihilates my shoulders.

used to run with an army rucksack

12 miles in 2 hours and 45 minutes was my record. but met a lot of guys who have done it a lot faster

Someone asks for help and all you can do is piss on their thread.

Stop being such an arrogant asshole.

Helping him is telling him that carrying a whole days work clothes and a tablet isn't feasible while running.

Thanks for calling me an arrogant asshole when I'm correct in every conceivable way.
