holy shiet, i remember! I had so much imagination as a kid, I ditched the original play and came up with my own game.... fun as hell..
 
this game was intense. i remember playing it at a friends house when i was really young

aww brings back good memories. times before video games took over my life.
 
the commercials for this game were so sweet. i remember wanting to play it so badly, but i couldnt convince my parents to buy it for me 🙁. then i was at some kids house and he had it and i freaked out bc i really wanted to play it. but he wasnt excited, bc he thought it sucked, and alas, it did.

hah the song went something like that ...

how bout that Torpedo game ... i can't remember the name of it, but it was where you laid out some battle ships on this mat, probably like 4feet by 4feet, and you would shoot torpedo's (little pucks) accross onto the other opponents ships, and if you hit the ships in the little engravements, it would cause a piece of the ship to fly off.

anyone remember that game?

i think this might be the other game i was talking about.

but i don't know if that is the same one, it sounds like it though. where you shoot torpedos at the boats and the pieces fly off. i played it when i was like probably 6 or 8 or so, which would be like 1987, so i thought it might habve been a little newer than the game in that link.

EDIT: Torpedo Run ... THATS the one i was talking about. that game was TIGHT!!! anyone else play that one?
