So my friend told me of a guy in one of her classes who went up to her one day and asked her if her name was Ann, which indeed was her.

He apparently recognized her from her Xanga site which she updates maybe once a month, and said that she should write for her school newspaper..and she's being friendly and says "yeah maybe I'll be a food critic and eat out every night"..to which he replies "yeah maybe I can help fund that for you"..and at this point she's completely weirded out but they proceed to exchange e-mails. She tries to forget about this incident and just ignore everything that happened.

Today then, she gets this e-mail.

Dear Ann,

This the one and literaly the only carlos in the class. You did not
email me, I can rationalize why in at least five ways with maybe it would
be weird as one of the top answers. I went through your page again and
liked it for its content and energy. It is intriguing and it draws you
in almost like watching an episode of Vietnamese "Friends" in non-talking
pictures.
I don't know if you are still interested in the idea of putting a critics
corner on a web page, but like I said (if you are as poor as me) I will
help fund it. We could start with places near campus but not associated,
as well as a few we already like. Let me know, so we can plan the
adventure.

I was thinking about my idea, the pix of ookla hotties (ucla) and I could
rig something that would take pix of people passing by without us
interupting them or soliciting either. This is of course legal and I
beleive that as long as the framework behing the site has no sexual
connotations and realy seems random or "catching people off guard"
genuine, that it has a good chance of being adored along with accepted
and "in". I would like your opinion since you are female and have a
better idea of reactions I or we could get because of this.

Either of these or both would be great extracurricular activities that I
beleive springboard the soul into challenges not just for self-interest,
but for humanity. Plus it would be ssoopafreshtizzzite to bust a trend on
da ookla peeps. Anyways... between you and I plus what ever help is
free, this could be the start of something beautiful.
