It's supposed to have a huge stock of beers from all over the world. But I wonder if the beer is fresh and the selection really as good as they claim. I would like to check it out myself but it's more than an hour drive so I was hoping someone here can either recommend it or warn me to stay away.

I am hoping the beers they have from around the world are not like 2 years old

Never been there myself, but had a few friends that got stuff from there. They were impressed with the selection and happy with what they got.

I've shopped there many times. And yes I can safely say they have probably close to 1000 beers or whatever they claim. They are organized alphabetically by country.

If you're worried about freshness just make sure to buy a bottle conditioned beer that improves with age.

Unlike the vast majority of beer produced and drunk in the US, some beer gets better as it ages; a good example is barley wine. A born on date is something that manufacturer that uses rice thought of to improve sales.
