Any of those SP1 downloads still work?

Since it was confirmed that the 1106 release on Microsoft's site matched the 'leaked' download, I decided to go ahead and get it. Problem is, all those links are now defunct, including the one on Microsoft's site. Has anyone gotten it recently (like tonight)? I need a working link.

I don't get it... Why can't someone just take the download and host it on their webspace or domain or something!? Is MS going around shutting everyone down who's providing the update???

Yep, along with the Windows XP Service Pack 1 Known Issues documents.
I got the document downloaded and there are about 16pages of known issues.
A lot of the issues have to do with having product keys (known copied ones), and various specific hardware issues, most of which are obscure anyway.

The two big ones though will be that you will have to reinstall usb 2.0 drivers, and Intel Application Accelerator 2.3.2135: install makes XPSP1 unbootable. But I understand that this version of the Application Accelerator was a beta anyway.

Others are:
Roxio Direct CD 5.1 fails writing large files
USB mousse and other devices don?t respond after upgrade to SP1
Yamaha AG-XG Audio will not be available or Windows Media Player Error: Cannot play back the audio stream.
Highpoint 372 disk controller driver removed from XPSP1 integrated media
DVD Playback has frequent glitches, skips or slowdowns since upgrade to Windows XP SP1
ASound 10/100 Ethernet adapter does not work after upgrading to XPSP1 standalone version
System Restore Filter generates event error after SP1 update (event ID 1) bug 632640
and some others
