read burned DVD?
Like the Pioneer 305s and Toshia SD-m1401. Since they are created before Dvd-burner, can they read dvd-r?

Thanks,
John

They should be able to just fine. Just like older DVD players can often read DVD-R disks even though they were made long before DVD-burners became mainstream.

my 1401 reads okay, it reads 100% of my nec 2500a dvd +r but had trouble reading friends generic dvd.. forgot what brand he's using.. maybe it's the cheap disc too
