My new kvm (thanks Hot Deals forum) should be waiting for me to get home tonight... 2-port with integrated cables for $20 +s/h from microcenter. I couldn't pass that one up.

I'm wondering, can you hook up a kvm to another kvm getting multiple combinations of hookups? like a 4 port hooked to an 8 port getting a 32port kvm?

No. Not with the ones that I've seen.

Although in your case, even if that did work it wouldn't be practical. You'd have to manually change the second KVM to the screen you wanted.

Most all of the higher end KVMS support chaining, but they require a special cable to chain.

well there goes my idea to use the "Well, I have 64 ports I need to fill with machines" excuse.

I have a two port Belkin at home. At work we had a Linksys, but we just bought an 8 port rack mountable Belkin.
